Jordi bar tapas
About This Spot
Stepping into Jordi Bar Tapas in Torre del Mar is like entering a lively corner of Andalusia where the rhythm of casual conversation blends effortlessly with the clinking of wine glasses. The space hums with genuine energy — a spot where locals and visitors mingle around tables that seem a little too close, inviting shared stories and spontaneous laughter. It’s a place that moves at a relaxed but upbeat pace, where the busy buzz doesn’t rush you, but rather draws you in to savor the moment.
Here, the experience is as much about the company and the atmosphere as it is the food. Before you even sit down, there’s a small ritual: a generous free tapa that feels like a welcome handshake into this convivial community. The menu then opens up as a curated journey of flavors—offering you the chance to share and discover, to taste familiar favorites and unexpected specialties with a Mediterranean soul. Each dish is designed for sharing, creating a leisurely exploration of texture and taste that invites you to connect with both the food and the people around you.
The wines here are like an unspoken companion to the meal—easy to enjoy and thoughtfully selected, they complement the richness and subtle spice of the Andalusian kitchen that Jordi champions. You’ll see plates passed around, bursting with a colorful variety that feels both homey and a bit adventurous, reflective of a place where tradition meets a joyful openness to the new.
What stands out isn’t just the food or the wine, but the warmth of the crowd and the genuine popularity of the spot. It’s the kind of place where people come back not only for the delicious simplicity of well-made dishes but because it feels authentically alive — packed comfortably with locals who know exactly why this corner on C. Azucarera keeps drawing them in. It’s a space of shared moments and subtle pleasures, where even a weekday afternoon can surprise you with its sense of community and easy charm.

Went here for the first time after recommended by our friends. Great tapas, atmosphere and it was packed out on a Tuesday afternoon! I can understand why now!!

I basically live in here. First time I went here I had to beg my company to stay cause there was a waiting time to get a table - a sign of a good restaurant. You get a free tapa before you're allowed to order anything else and the food is share friendly. We especially love the mix of tapas that's a fun way to try many different things and the ones you get are more unusual than other places serve. So far there was not been anything I have been truly disappointed with

The best food I have eaten for many years! Every dish was bursting with flavour, each bite was delicious. We stumbled across this restaurant and what a find! Very reasonably priced and a good selection of vegetarian foods. Well recommended.

We had dinner at bar Jordi and the food was great. It is always busy here so make sure you reserve ahead of time. The prices like in most restaurant in Torre del mar are very friendly and the portions surprisingly good. Bar Jordi has a very nice cozy terras. All in all would definitely go back.
